How much are allergies creating serious health problems? Often simple solutions found here
In an ideal world, our many bodily systems can maintain healthy functioning when exposed to toxins, viruses, toxic bacterias, and/or allergens. Sometimes, the immune system gets more than it’s able to manage.
It’s like a business manager who has so many things tossed in her direction that she’s not able to make the best decisions. Her department could become spread too thin and is no longer at its fittest.
These days, our body’s immune system has a lot to deal with — the environment, manufactured foods, unknown additives, too much EMF (electromagnetic frequencies) and many others. The immune system can become confused as to how to process all this. When we have an allergy to something this means the immune system does not know how to process something effectively, which can result in all kinds of health issues.
I often define allergies as the immune system’s inability to take on one more attack
The good news is that I’ve found, when using integrative manual therapy to identify and give therapy for the most potent allergy a person is suffering with the less potent ones a person may have often fall away as well. Then, the immune system can become more able to deal with negative influences on a daily basis resulting in better well being.
I sometimes suggest nutritional changes, in concert with a trained nutritionist. One of my patients stopped drinking milk and eating pork, and she never had seasonal allergies again. And that goes back to 1988. Later on, she told me she reintroduced both foods into her diet again with no ill effects.
This woman also did other things to upgrade her health. She started drinking less coffee, tea, and refined sugar.
Please note that some allergies do not clear. For instance, people with Celiac’s Disease can’t eat gluten again. On the other hand, I’ve known a lot of people who’ve eliminated or cut back on their gluten intake and have improved their health immensely — long before they might have developed Celiac’s or many other gluten related issues.
