Is integrative manual therapy covered by insurance?

How many treatments will I need and how often?

Most clients require at least six sessions to resolve an issue. If you have a long-term problem, it's probably best to come once a week until you feel significant improvement. In the beginning stages, you should probably come at least once every two weeks. But we'll discuss your specific needs. Some clients receive treatment every other day.

I don’t have pain, but I’d like to feel better. Can you help?

Yes. Many people come to Innovative Pain Release Center without a significant issue or chronic pain. Most want to feel better, learn to relax, and release stress. Not everything happens on the treatment table, however. We suggest techniques you can use at home or on the job that can help you keep tension and stress at bay.

Do you teach home therapeutic activities?

Yes. When appropriate, we teach you therapeutic activities you can do at home to accelerate your healing process.

What are your hours and rates?

We schedule appointments between 7 am and 7 pm Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays if possible. For your initial visit, please allow 90 minutes. If you'd like a free consultation, please call us at 757.896.1936 or 804.573.9516. . Our rates are $60 per hour. Sliding scale fees are available.

How do I know integrative manual therapy will help my problem?

If you're unfamiliar with Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT), you don't know the many ways in which it can help. That's why we offer a free initial consultation. Most clients feel results after the first full evaluation and session. We can help with most medical issues. If we can't, we'll let you know.

Can you connect me with other health professionals as well?

Yes. Some clients benefit from approaches outside the scope of our practice. When needed, we'll recommend other services that can benefit you, including physicians, nutritionists, and occupational and physical therapists.

Does integrative manual therapy hurt?

Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) doesn't hurt. We use a very light pressure in our hands-on therapies and are extremely conscious of reducing, not adding to, your pain or discomfort.
