Sacral & sciatic pain
Sacral & sciatic pain
While many patients complain about low back pain, this is often a symptom of sacral pain, which is in the lower back area. Our office specializes in treating sacral, sciatic, and low back pain depending on your specific symptoms.
It is essential to release restrictions of the sacrum in order to help sciatic pain and low back pain. Lots of sciatic pain and general low back pain is driven by a combination of restrictions of the sacrum, L5 vertebrae, the hip bones and hip joints, and the sacral iliac joints. We specialize in releasing these restrictions through a synergistic combination of cranial sacral therapy, myofascial release, and integrative manual therapy. In addition to sciatica and low back pain, sacral restrictions can be a major contributor to pain in any area of the body especially in the neck, jaw, TMJ joint, head, ears, shoulders, wrists, knees and feet. A restricted sacrum can also be a significant contributor of chronic stress and anxiety, insomnia, constipation, and others.
All of our therapy is relaxing, not painful, and safe. It is given to the fully clothed body. It is very effective. Improvement usually begins after the first session. We are usually able to understand the underlying problem during the first session and begin work right away.
