Stress management
Stress management
By the end of every therapy session common stress levels are significantly reduced - regardless of any situation. Every session facilitates better function of the adrenals and the vagus nerve which reduces stress, and myofascia release improves the elasticity of fascia and releases compression and density of other types of connective tissue. The result is better immune system function, reduced stress, and relaxed muscles. All of our therapy is very relaxing and reduces stress.
With every therapy session we use a unique process of assessment provided by integrative manual therapy (IMT). This allows us to discover how to help pain, discomfort, and other symptoms including chronic fatigue, exhaustio, or anxiety. Trauma stress can stem from accidents, extreme fright or trauma, any kind of abuse, long periods of being worried or scared, or threatened in some way, surgeries, prolonged periods of pain or illness, and more.
Situations like these often cause PTSD. When an area of the body is holding trauma stress or PTSD, there can be a residual chaotic movement in the tissues. This movement can be felt by a trained therapist’s hands during an assessment. When areas of the body holding trauma stress or PTSD are discovered during assessment, IMT techniques are used to release them. Once they are released, the physical components causing pain and dysfunction are more accessible. Pain in an area of the body can be reduced when trauma stress or PTSD is released. Trauma stress and PTSD create sustained tensions and pressures.
